My workouts are gettting very long--They are almost 2 hours--so i decided to split them into two days. The first day would be upper and the next day would be lower. Then the Next day i would go back to upper. I would take a day off after the fourth day also.

Here it is:

I. Day One - Upper Body
A. Chest
i. Bench
ii. Incline
B. Arms
i. Incline Isolated Curls
ii. Overhead Tricep Press
iii. Seated Military Press
C. Neck, Back, amd Abs
i. Military Style Pull Ups (Palms Away)
ii. Good Mornings
iii. Legs ups.
iv. Preacher Crunches
V. Neck Movements on the machine

II Day Two - Lower Body
A. Upper Legs
i. Parallel Squat
ii. Seated Reverse Leg Curls
iii. Leg Extensions
iv. Dead Lift
B. Calfs
i. Unroped Jumps (Jump Ropes without the jump but also
moving from side to side and front to
back. I have already seen good gains
with this in 2 weeks)
ii. Seated Calf Raises
C. Neck, Back, and Abs
i. See Above

So is there anything i should change or add? Let me know caue you are the pros. I am just a wannabe. I want to put on a lot of muscle but still stay limber and cut.
Thanks!!!!
chris

That is seriously going to overtrain you if you do it 4 days a in row. Read spatts' sticky at the top of the page. There are excellent routines in it. Read up, and maybe pick one that suits your goals.

However, your goals ... You want to add a lot muscle, but stay lean. Bro, that ain't gonna happen. At least not much.

I thought it would overtrain but i wasnt sure.
St8klover, do you mean take a day off in between each day or take like day one's lifts and devide them?
I know that sticky has really good lifts in it, but i kind of need to stay around these because of my dickhead football coach who dont know shit about lifting anyway.
thanks,
cain

Ditto on what gettinlarger said.

You're only seeing results because its new. Soon you'll stop gaining and crash.

Could i do that routine with a days break in between or a break after the second day(leg day)?

Or is there something else(the lifts) that is going to overtrain me?

If you and/or your coach is so adament about this routine, do it over 3 days.

Monday = day one
Wednesday = day two
Friday = day 1
Next Mon = day 2

and so on.

And dude, don't do neck/back 2 days in a row.

Also, what kind of deadlifts are you doing? Conventional = back day. Stiff legged = leg day.
