Because they are, as has been said, great medically. And if, like some great fat blob, you sat on your sofa and never moved they'd be useful and can be shown as such. It's the idea that you'll be some ripped adonis that's wrong.

Have you ever watched TV at 2AM? It's all informercials making ridiculous claims.

As long as they say 'this product is not intended to cure or treat any disease" they can legally say whatever they want about the product

You really need to be a smart consumer and do your own research now a days
