Do boxers lift alot of weight?

they do a lot of situps, and other types of training.. but mostly a boxer wants to be good at yes i know its hard to believe "boxing!"

you aren't going to be a great boxer by lifting weights all day.

also boxers want to stay in their weight classes and having a lot of muscle won't do them any good, they have lean muscle

In and of itself no. There's no real boxing advantage to, say, benching 500lbs. However, a good heavyweight will always be stronger than a good middleweight. Perhaps not quite (as per the famous movie montages) 'Rocky strong'.

Boxers do a lot of functional and bodyweight training. Their goal is to be as strong and fast as possible per pound of body weight.

They do lots of things like pull ups, push ups, kettle bell swings, battle ropes etc.

They dont want to get bulky but it also depends on the weight class. Heavyweights tend to lift more weight than the lighter weight classes.
