Do big gains in legs ever take away upper body gains?

This summer i noticed awesome gains in leg strength hence improved workouts in that area. My upper body stats did not budge. I'm thinking since most of my energy expenditure and rebuilding efforts were going to my lower half that my upper body may have been starved the opportunity to do as well as it could.

I'm i correct in this assumption?

No bro
Leg improvements will only help your upper body.

What percentage of big fuckers with chicken legs do you see compared with scrawny guys with massive quads?

Thats what i always hear too.

Though I had a friend who had a leg amputated and his upper body got much stronger. He just did welding and some lifting.

when I have worked on my legs more than my upper body I notice all of my lifts go up. Basically you just need to make sure you eat enough protein to supply your whole body...

I see. I was cutting this summer. Oh, well the added leg muscle gave me the low BF and made the upper half look cut. Its all good.
