Differences between flat-bench flyes and multi-angle dumbell press

patro

Could somebody please try to clearly explain the differences between flat-bench flyes and multi-angle dumbell presses?

Am I right to say that the main difference is that in the flat-benches you arc your arms' motions, but in the multi-angles you don't, and keep your forarms perp. to the floor?

Thanks,

PATRO

You can do presses at any angle (decline, incline, or flat). Yes, when you perform a chest press your forearms are approximately perpindicular to the floor. You can also do flies at any angle (decline, incline, or flat) in which you arc your arms (only rotate your shoulders not your elbows).
