Diet vs. Exercise

If we take the possibility to do only one thing –either diet, or exercise. What will be more effective for fat loss?If someone can focus on only one of these things, which should be inpriority?

diet because you are doing that all day.. exercise is just a small part of the day

in the end if you can dial in BOTH, you will burn the most fat. but yeah you can choose one or the other and succeed.

endurance athletes eat pizza and pancakes and still are lean cause they burn off so many calories training. a person with a real life and career is not going to be able to train that much everyday so you won't be able to pull that off

Diet and it isn't even close. You could be on the treadmill for an hour and burn 300 calories. That is a lot of work. Do you know how easy it is to not eat 300 calories.......much easier to do.

Diet. Just think about it logically. You are in the gym working out 1-2 hours. What you do the other 23-22 hours is much more important.

It's like that age old saying 'you can't out train a bad diet'.

You actually don't need to exercise to loose body fat. You can loose body fat through diet alone.

The #1 reason people don't get the results they want is because they don't give their diet enough focus. How often do you see people who go to the gym every single day but don't look any different?

If you were to choose just one of these things, obviously diet is a much more effective means of losing weight for all of the above mentioned reasons. However, you would end up being a distrophic guy, which is not cool either. Therefore, it is best to combine the two things - this way you will get leaner, but yet you will also get a bit more athletic. This is the best combination ever.
