Deloading and tinkering

Hi all, wanted to pick the brains of the smart,

Since start of January been running Faleev 5x5. Basically its sets across for Squat(Mon), Bench(Tues) and DL(Wed) with an 80% day for bench and squat on the friday. Adding 5kg per workout.

I decided to deload every 6 weeks - with 80% MonTueWed and Friday 60%

Started conservatively Sq(70) Bench(65) DL(80).

For second cycle, didn't want to neglect the standing press so made decision to put it in place of Bench on the Tuesday. And kept the bench in on the deload day (Friday) using 7x3 reps.

Second cycle started Sq(85) Press ((47.5) DL (95kg).
(Bench started at 90kg 7x3 on the deload day)

Now at the end of the 2nd cycle. Squat finished at 110kg, Press at 60kg, Deadlift at 120kg. Bench 7x3 will finish at 100kg.



Wondering where to go with my 3rd cycle. Whether to keep the alternating pattern, Bench and Press, and keeping the other as a 7x3 on deload day for the squat, or am I missing any fundamental mistakes?

I hit 5x5 on all lifts but don't feel I have room to go much further next week hence the deload.

Thoughts appreciated guys!
