Cutting up

I'm 5'11, 210lbs, and 24 years old. I started lifting at 160lbs and I wanted to get up to 225 but at this point I just want to cut up for the summer. Any ideas?
 
HIIT (running, eliptical) 3x week, 1 or 2x week low volume compound lift based training without going to failure.

Eat clean & lower your cals by 500 a day from your normal intake.

That's it. If you do this correctly for 6-8 weeks you should be able to lose around 5% BF easy.
