Crossfit injuries

I recently slipped a disc in my back doing crossfit. It clearly sucks but I want to get a good idea of how I can recover from it and atleast take the steps to feeling better. Any help?
 
crossfit injuries are quite common because it is too much over training and peer pressure. plus it is volume training within a set time which puts tremendous pressure on the body.

i would recommend 2 things. get an inversion table + do hot yoga.

the worst thing you can do is keep hammering away or getting a cortisol shot. also chiropractors and massage therapists might mean well, but they will actually cause more damage by playing around with your injury
 
If your spine is out of place - you are going to need physical adjustments to get it put back into place.

I suggest booking an appointment with a good chiropractor, getting x-rays done and doing whatever treatment plan he suggests
