So, I have been reading this board for a while and I am now thinking of modifying my exercise routien a touch. Pretty much evey routien I look at talks about using compond exercises. What do you consider the core compound exercises for each body part/area?

Thumpcbd

Legs: Squat
Chest: Bench( I prefer Incline ) and Dips
Back: Barbell Rows/ Deads
Shoulders: Shoulder Press

Legs
front squats
high bar squats/box squats (barbell on rear deltoids)
overhead squats

Back
deadlifts (sumo/conventional)
barbell shrugs
barbell rows (pronated and supinated grips)

Chest
flat bench press
incline press

Shoulders
Overhead press (seated w/out back support & standing)

**** dips are not considered a compound movement IMO

Good point, pullups are a good compound movement. Speaking from my own experience my tris, shoulders and chest have grown from heavy wieghted dips. PH, how have you been bro! From the sound of things, well. Peace
