1. Spot reduction is a myth.

2. The chest is one muscle...not seperated into 3. hence there is not any particular quadrants you need concentrate on. work it as a complex and let genetics unfold what you have.

3. Hypertrophy is not necessarily proportional to the amount of hours you spend in the gym.

lets get some more myths cleared up....
add to the list to help some of the guys with repeat questions.

High Volume is necessary for growth.

You can shape a muscle.

High reps for cutting, low reps for bulking.

I shall post more...
 
Calves need very high reps.
Abs need hundreds of reps.
Bench Presses are the key strength exercise.
Squats ruin your knees.
