im going to change my routine to this in a couple months. right now im doing 3x10 with pretty much everything. looking to lift heavier with 5x5. will i get more mass then 3x10?

ya i know that but im talking with a bulk diet would i gain more mass with 5x5?

hard to tell. Why don't you compare the two? Plan your exact diet down to a T. Do 2 months what you're currently doing, then do 2 months of 5x5 while keeping the diet constant. See what puts on more muscle

Like CBB said, there's no "yes or no" answer.

Try it.

5x5 will definately improve your strength. I've gone off it lately to a 4x10 on alot of stuff and noticed I've lost some strength. If you subscribe to the "with strength comes size school" then it should work for you.

Of course as CBB mentioned too, no food, no mass. Minimum, bare minimum of 2 g of protien per lb of body weight. That protien with a good balance of carbs and fat should do it.

Lots of factors there though.
