burpees vs running on the treadmill

which exercise involve more muscles and make you burn more calories? I have to work out at home since I have no time to go the gym.
 
These are very different exercises. Burpees are hard to do for a prolonged period of time, whilst you can run for quite a while. Therefore, combine the two - use burpees as your go-to exercise for intense cardio involving more muscle groups, and running as slow paced cardio, which is also very beneficial.
 
Burpees are a full body exercise where as the treadmill just uses your legs.

However, you can get some small dumbbells and do things like bicep curls, shoulder presses etc. while walking on the treadmill.

Get creative. You can also wear a weighted vest to make the burpies harder!
 
Burpees would be a more intense exercise than running but you could probably run for longer at a time. In the end just switch it up. Look for some at home routines. There are a bunch of apps that have templates you can follow too.
