    Actually on-line is probably not the best place to get dumbells- shipping is outrageous. Look around where you live (unless you live out in N. Dakota or on Guam). I found a place that sold Hexs for $.39/Lb right near where I work. As for benches and racks and what not, I've done OK with the Fitness factory (not sure of the link, but search on that and you should find 'em)

    Here is where I get most of my equipment. I got a pretty
    huge gym at home and got most of it off the web. I also like sportchallet's on the web, they seem to have better stuff than in the actual stores.

    Garage Sale

    Most people's home gyms end up in garage sales. Drive around some neighborhoods this weekend. I guarantee you will save money and most likely you'll find so good "never been used" equipment.

    there are many places for you to collect fitness equipment for home workout. You can turn to bodybuilding forum, there are many threads about this aspect.
