Best Workout For Ripping UP?

Out of curiosity, if i were to rip up, cut my calories, would it still make sense to continue with madcow intermediate 5X5? Or would i need to put that on hold and swich to a different workout due to cutting calories as I probably wouldn't hit PR's due to a deficit? Thoughts?
 
Your right bro. You not gonna hit PRs due to cut in cals. However you still will be doing a hell of a good cutting routine. Studies have shown time after time that heavy weight training burns more cals for a longer period of time then any cardio will.
You might consider this, adjust your weight workouts to more of a maintenance routine but add in complexes. See Tnation for what that is. Good luck bro and keep the thread running.
