Best way to improve form

the fact is personal trainers, most of them atleast, have no clue how to do proper form. they are either genetic jocks who get away with shit form or they just basically have no clue

the best way to learn form is use logic and understand what the goal of weight trianing is.. you are trying to break down the muscle, not trying to swing big weights (unless you are trying to max out in a competition but that is not the point)

What’s the best recommended way to improve lifting form? Should I get a coach?

How bad is your form now? Given that there's a TON of info via videos on form is it that yours has become sloppy?

One reply would be - slow down the rep speed. So instead of cheating and throwing the weights about slowing down will make form a LOT better. You may have to lighten the load but so...

Coach is a good idea, assuming he knows his stuff. As unfortunate as it is there are many "not-so-competent" personal trainers in the gyms nowadays.

Another thing I usually recommend if someone is having trouble getting their form right is to lower the weight and start over. Perfect practice makes perfect and you can't really focus on your technique and those techniques cues when you are trying to move maximal loads.

Watch some youtube videos of the pros lifting
