Not sure if I posted in the correct location but my question is can you still grow and become a bigger and better body builder after 40 or do you stop gaining muscle despite all the cycling and hard work at a certain age and if so what age do you think this is.

I'm turning 45 this year and having no issues making gains. They don't come as fast as when I was 20, and I have lots more aches and pains, but then plate counts keep climbing.

the strongest dudes in every gym across the world are guys in their 40's and early 50's.

why? cause they have been doing it consistently for years

and Mr. O champion last go around was in his 40's.

just stay healthy and lift smart and you can do this for many years. the old mod JP was in his 60's and still doing it

I'm 45 and I still make great gains. They are harder to get than when I was younger but they still come.

The biggest obstacle when you get older is recovery. You have to take care of your body and listen to it.
