Anyone ever tried "unorthodox" training methods and get results? Such as working the same muscle twice a day....am/pm? Or trying to bring up lagging bodyparts by working them 3,4,or even 5 times a week? I remember a friend from college who did shrugs 5 days a week for an entire summer and his traps blew up! Obviously that kind of training couldn't go on forever, but I'm wondering about incorporating it once in awhile? Any experiences?
