Anyone rate side or 45 degree lunges

Welcome to the EliteFitness.com Bodybuilding Site! Please join this discussion about Anyone rate side or 45 degree lunges within the Weight Training & Weight Lifting category.

Excerpt: Hi, I've been doing lunges at 45's and 90's as well as squats for my leg routine recently, and wondering whether these are worth it. They still seem to be quite grueling, as indicated by heart rate monitor. Does anyone use them? Do they develop nice looking abductors? (i.e., I want that jagged look) Are there better abductor exercises Also, just usual rep range
