Anyone keep a training journal?

I just started to record my daily feats this week. Anyone else do this? What do you write? So far, I record my bodyweight, and the specific lifts I do that day. I also have written my short-term goals at the top, in big-ass caps. So far, it seems to be working nicely. I'm about 2 pounds up from 5 days ago.
 
Yes, I take an 8 inch x 5 inch notecard to the gym that contains my workout. I will pencil in the exercises and the weights/reps. It works like a charm. I think it is important to keep tract of what you are doing. By keeping a record, you will know how to gauge your strength.
