Chest was yesterday and I completely baffled myself. As I had mentioned before I had damaged my rotator and recently discovered it was due to hoisting HEAVY dbls up w/out a spot.
Anyway, I decided to do Bbel inclines first. Went as high as 245 for 8 reps w/ NO shoulder pain. Interestingly I did flat bbel bench after and once I got to the 245 level my shoulder hurt pretty bad.
My third excersize was incline dumbell. Amazingly I pressed the Cnotes for an easy 10 reps. WTF
I am in the experimentation mode now to see what movements are most comfortable yet will yield the best results.
I guess sometimes its wise to buck conventional wisdom and go with other movements than those that the masses deem crucial for growth.
