Adding more weight each set??

I was just wondering how different people trained. For example, sometimes if I'm going for a certain amount of reps on each set I have to drop the weight each set in order to get it, while other times I pyramid the weight up each set doing less reps. Just wondering what ya'll do.

I personally endurance train, and just always do 3 sets, 12 reps for my workouts (except calf and ab workouts)

But whatever works for you, go for it.

i too go for the 3 sets of reps... but i increase the wieght and try to reach to same # of reps each time, especially the 3rd set. On the last 3-4 reps in each set I try to release the wieght as slow as I can to increase the burn. Abs I do first and last every workout session.
