5x5 training tips and ideas

I was on a flight and during the stop over at the airport I grabbed a magazine to read on the plane. It was a bodybuilding magazine and it was talking about something called 5x5 training

Can you give me a simple explanation of how I'm supposed to do this as someone who is new to weight training
 
i didnt know bodybuilding magazines still existed lol

5 x 5 works only for guys more advanced
i prefer 5x2
4 days 1 bodypart 1 day full body 1 day cardio 2 days rest
