Too many variables without more info. But...

So one argument is that the Squat is el numero uno. So if you ONLY squatted for one session a week (assuming it was as hard as possible for an hour or so) would that be enough?

You mean 1 training session only?
Well, I guess it's better than nothing but optimal by no means.
 
1x a week is nothing bro.. youre body is capable of so much more, youre cutting urself short
