It's not one man who runs the country either. It's him and his administration, which can and should be blamed, at least partly for the economy. They are increasing the deficit with an openly lack of regard. Cheney openly admits the deficit doesn't matter. This is their fault.
I don't know why people think Kerry is some pussy. Bush skipped the war, Kerry didn't. Why do people think he won't "stand up" to the bad guys as much as Bush. "Bumping Heads" with terrorists and enemies is just going to get more people killed. Do you feel safer today with Bush in Office than you did with Clinton? I sure as hell don't. Do you feel we have taken steps forward since Bush took office? Nope.
Yes Bush has done a lot of wrong, but just because everyone has doesn't justify keeping him in office. He has had his 4 years, and he has done an awful job in my opinion. He represents our country. He is our leader. And the dude can't even carry on an intelligent discussion without having a prepared, vague speech full of patriotic cliches to stumble through.
It is voting for the lesser of two evils, as it always is. There is just a big gap between the two evils this year I feel. On the most simple level, I don't think he should be President. Policies, actions, history, beliefs aside, he doesn't have the most basic qualities to lead our country. He makes a fool of himself and in turn our country daily, and for god knows why, nobody seems to care.
