again, bashing the rich. there all so eeevilll.

i guess you want across the board salary pay.

CEO of general electric = 100,000

janitor at general electric = 100,000

no. and we are getting off topic.

I agree with Strongchick here.
Even though i do think people can work hard to become wealthy, i also feel that the rich will do what they can to have less competition. Welcome to capitalism...this is the way the system works. Everyone is a slave to the mighty dollar. I think the rich want to keep people in their place as well but this doesn't make them evil or bad. In the society we live in today 99% of people would do the same. We value individuality, independence and to a degree GREED.

yes i agree, the capitalistic system encourages the wealthy to stay wealthy, i just dont agree with her bashing them in general.

the vast majority of millionaires have obtained thier wealth from hard work and not neccesarily trampling all over anybody.

i honestly believe thier is more good people out there than eeevilll overweight business men screwing thier secretaries.

but we dont meet individuals, we read horror stories about them in print or on t.v., and take eveything at face value. is that propaganda?

I don't think they should be bashed because others would do the same. I am not saying that millionaires tramle on people but there is only so much money going around.

As for the evil/good people thing. Of course these people will be all good and nice in real life. How hard would it be to sell something when people think you are an ass. No, but really, i think people are different in different parts of their life. I don't think work is one of those places where people are very nice or gracious people. By the way, there are an equal amount of success stories out there as well in addition to horror stories.

oh i agree, my comments were more or less directed at strongchicks mentality about rich people. she may see it in her profession, but i think most of her views(regarding this subject) are based on print by various organizations.

in my experience, i have seen that "rich" people are just as nice and good as anybody. a few, well quite a few people that i know that possibly have a million or more, are blue collar workers who saved and invested. and worked thier asses off, puttin in overtime hours.
