Woot's Viper aint got shit on the Ultimate Aero

RW I  you cars not so much. I am looking at getting one again any suggestions I really don't give a shit about cars I just want something cheap, reliable and fuel efficient. I have owned cavaliers and sunfires previously there pretty decent was thinking at just getting another one of those used.

Reliable? HAH and cavalier and sunfire do nooooot belong in the same sentance sorry.

Pretty much everyone who's ever looked at a car knows that.

why do you think they depreciate so freaking quickly? it's not because of quality and reliability that's for sure.

Honda and toyota are always sure bets for both fuel efficiency and reliablity.

actually...The newer cavaliers got the 2.2 Ecotech Motor. Which is a nice little motor.

While the Honda/Toyota/Nissans I think are a better car overall, if your on a tight budget they might not be an option. And if she's looking at slightly older vehicles..good luck finding a Honda that hasn't had the shit ran out of it by some fast/furious wanna be kid.

Always loved Jay and his love for cars....check this one out:

Jay Leno's Garage

It's the SHOgun, he takes a bone stock Taurus SHO motor and throws it in a light Festiva. That motor is the sole reason I love my Taurus SHO's...listen to that sound at 1:00. That's what I look forward to every time I drive my ride :)

Sure, the Taurus SHO body itself isn't too flashy, but it's a true driver's car...and a sick sleeper. I get more enjoyment out of my blue 95 5sp SHO than any other car I've driven.

I owned both before if I was a bit better with maintince on that sunfire I would likely still own it. There cheap yes and cheap to fix to if something goes wrong. Toyota's and Honda's are great cars just not sure I want to spend that kinda money. I don't even really want a car just business is forcing me to look at one depending how much I do in my side business I could write some of it off. I am not at all a car person. I hate them to be honest I live in the city everything I need in life I can walk to or be there by subway in 20 minutes or less.

Okay, for QT, here's an out-in-left-field suggestion. I think you might like the Honda Element. It's their funky little micro-van. With a higher truck-like driving position you can see over the congested urban Toronto traffic, but it's still small and easy to park, and it's good for trips to the big-box store. There's an AWD version if you need to get around in the snow.

A wallywagon? No thanks. I like Civics and have looked at a few used ones that I could live with there price but I just know I can get a cavalier/sunfire for like half the price however I am pretty sure long term the civic is a much better investment as I seen people put some crazy millage on those things.

Our family has owned both a cavalier and a sunfire. Both went over 200k miles and still ran well. Take care of them and they'll last. Problem is many owners neglect maintenance and then blame the car for being an unreliable POS.

Yeah Jay not only knows his cars but can drive well too. He turned multiple consecutive laps in the Porsche Carrera GT at 170mph. Even after spinning it four times at 190, he got out and was like "meh". He's got nads.

I always thought he was annoying and unfunny, but he seems like a cool dude.
