Yes, but since everyone in this post agrees with American policy, our opinions are void.
Are we really doing something that bad that can make almost the entire world hate us? Blair supposedly won't back an attack on Iraq. Why not? Does he fear that his country will be a target or does he truly not think that they promote terror?
i dont. can you say you've agreed with everything your countries done? i cant say that about mine. they privatised the railways, fouled up virtually every public service there is and crippled the military with low spending.
look at it this way (eyes of a foreigner in say iran). you live in a country. that country is a very peaceful country, very prosperous, has a relativly benevolent leader, democratic elections and good hi demand natural resources (oil). then due to the political leanings of your leader, he is deposed and a crackpot dictator is installed, resulting in the deaths of thousands. when he is finally removed, a crackpot dictator is placed in a neighbouring country (iraq) and attacks your country killing many more. are the people in this country gonna like you?
what if you (iraq) get bombed day in and day out, have radioactive weaponry used againt you that causes 10 yr old girls to have cervical cancer, and the drugs needed to treat you arent getting in, yet nothing is done to the leader of the country
now add a few thousand extremists allowing all this hate to be focused onto a bunch of innocent people who had nothing to do with their previous generations actions and new hate is spawn. thats why i think they hate us, i may not agree with it, ut tthat doesnt matter in the grand scheme of things, thse nutjobs are the ones blowing up innocent civillians every day
as for blair, i believe he wants to support the US. but....he doesnt have supprot within his party or in the commons or in europe. as much as he'd love he'll never get enough support
