Why are PRO's so weak! Curling 35 dumbells with soi much trouble!

I think Jeremy21 and Valdez both got it right. I don't believe, that pro-bodybuilders consider 25-40 pound dumbbells even close to heavy.

It has to be said, that being a powerlifter myself, I don't know much about bodybuilding, but in my gym 25-40 pound dumbbells are definitely for the mediocre lifters, who only lift for fun and don't have any ambition of ever participating in any competition. You know, lifters closing in on their forties, growing grey hair and having trouble reaching below their oversized stomach. Damn, that sounds like me! :)

Anyway, I've just started doing dumbbell curls again after a few months break and yesterday I did 7 reps with 50 pound dumbbells. So I find it very hard to believe that pro-BB's will be using 25-40 pound dumbbells for anything else than warm-up.
 
I would Imagine during a Photo Shoot, the model has to do many, many reps until they get the shots they need.
That would be one reason why the weights they are using are lighter in those shots.

The only time these boys lift light weights are usually back stage at a show when they are pumping up and that is the only time!!!

uh what? so how did they get the way they did again? Electrical stimulus? Plyometrics? Bowflex? It's not like they can simply take AS and grow w/o weight training, you know.

oh wait... you said LIGHT weights... time for me to have my eyes checked
 
pros aretn week they curl with like 70 lb dumbells i dont konw wehere u r seeing this 35 lb dumbless
