Wholemeal Bread - Really that bad?

My hectic work lifstyle continues and im forced to have sandwiches for 2 meals a day while at work... my diet looks like this when at work:

7:00 am : NLARGE2 Shake + milk
9:30 am : 2 wheetabix + semi skim milk + 2 wholemeal toasts +shake
12:00 pm : Cajun Chicken sandwich on wholmeal + salas +shake
3:30 pm : Roast Beef salad sandwich on wholmeal + shake
7:00 pm : 8oz chicken breast + salas + shake + flax oil
10:00 pm : shake + flax

I know I know... 2 many shakes... but im trying to add as much as I can so would rather have it than not have it.

This I estimate to be 2200-2400 cals with approx 200grams protein... (im 170lbs). Im bulking (or trying to) so is the bread really that bad for me? 6 slices a day?

I think the diet looks good for the most part, but six slices of bread per day is high if you're trying to cut. I'd cut the bread out of one of your mid-day meals and just eat the meat.
 
I believe you are trying to bulk if your taking NLARGE so 6 slices of bread a day isn't bad since i'm sure you dont give a rats ass about holding water. You got to get some red meat in that diet man. Eat some lean cuts of steak and ground beef. I find its really simple to fry up some lean ground beef with onions and peppers, boil some patatoes, put it in a container and take it to work. Red meat and patatoes will make you grow.
 
Sorry Stubbs, I read your post wrong, thought you were cutting. I agree with Cure, the bread is fine. And yes, get some red meat in there.
 
it is OK as for the bread (as long as it is natural whole wheat bread w/osugar/fat/additives)

low on the GI scale
almost no fat
tasty !
 
It is fairly low but bear in mind ive been cutting for 6 months to shed 3 stone of fat :P

Was taking in around 1800 cals to loose this... put some on first cus before I started working out I was eating around 1200 a day (i didnt know any better till i came on here)... Im putting on some good size from my virgin var cycle... my shoulders have really blown up so im pleased for the most part. Water is a problem at the moment because of the creatine... but it also is filling me out nicely and working well with the var...

I do try and fit bits and pieces in whenever I can between those meals too like a banana here and there... a yogurt or an extra shake if im feeling hungry... flax also adds around 250 cals to that total... and of course im not counting spreads and salads and stuff into the total calories... nor am i adding the cals from the simple carb drink I take with my creatine... so its prob more, thats just an estimate.

If I was able to get 3000 cals and 300g protein id be a moster off this var... its good shit, and im only midway through week 3!

I'm taking in about 3800 calories on a 195lbs frame and i truly think that one of these days i will throw up. I almost did last night eating 8oz of broiled salmon. Just couldn't put it down.
