The only way a non-white can escape racism front and behind his back -- is to make everyone he encounters love him and adore him.

This in itself is a form of racism. Kind of like , if a woman wants to do as well as a man at work, she has to actually perform better to get the same recognition.
I'm not saying your racist, but the fact that it is frequently true shows society's racism.
I used to tell racist jokes, as a teen/young adult. I didn't really have a racial problem, I'd had a few minority friends, but society seemed so hung up on these stereotypes that I made jokes about them. Had a coupla books, Truly Tasteless Jokes, & Outrageously Offensive Jokes.

I know I have said racist things that I really didn't mean. Most of the time when I say something racist, my comments are really about one person in particular that did or said something that made me mad.

Do minorities forgive us for these verbal slip ups?

I am not fond of loud Arab young men from Dearborn trying to confront anyone not in their tribe ...
