lookign for a good strong bench with leg attachments and a pulley bar. i don't want those joe weider crap. I liek to get a leg press machien but there all like $900. - 1500.00

why dont you get a CHUCK NORRIS special?
With that high quality machine you can do every exercise, every day and never have to leave your house.;)

i would have to disagree with you on that. i can do just about anything you can at gym. just gotta have the right shit

The onlything I have for my half ass home gym for days when i cant get to the gym are an olympic bench, some plates, and some heavy dumbells; I just cant get motivated while working out in my house :)

Buy an olympic weight bar and plates and a power rack with
bench and lat attachment. SAMS club was selling a Pro
series Weider set a couple of years ago for less than $200
I think. Medium quality, but good enough. I would also
buy fixed dumbells in about the 20-50 lb range, once you
get above that, it's not cost effective anymore. Use an
olympic dumbell with your plates instead. I wouldn't go
with a home setup. I like the variety of a well stocked gym.

If the desire is there, you can build mass without dumbells and barbells.

I remember when I went out of town, I was lifting 5 gallon sparklets Bottles, Clorox Bleach, Broom Sticks with Like Heavy 15 books hanging from each side, Pushing my SUV outside, etc.

Where do you live. I'm trying to see mine. It was about a $1200 setup: Sqaut half-rack, adjustable bench, high/low pulley system and Olympic weights. PM me if interested.

Just get yourself a good power rack and some dumbells. I have a power rack in my basement for those days when I dont want to go to the gym (there is a lot of dust on it).

Anyway here is the one I have. Its decent but not club quality so you cant do 1000# squats. You can however do 400# squats and drop the bar on the safty bars and it wont break :D twice even.

goto "body solid" and then "power racks" Its cheap free shipping and I have had mine for close to 8 years now I think.
