when you don't get up until later in the day/protein

so if i want to grow i'm taking in more than a gram per pound... so if i aim for 120 grams a day and i wake up later what should i do?

smalls you need to up your P per day! at least 1.5-2 g per pound of BW! It' pretty simple smalls just eat some dam Protein! Get in gear girl! Or else your gonna get some saddlebags!
 
AT YOUR WEIGHT YOU CAN ONLY TAKE ABOUT 30 GRAMS OF PROTEIN EVERY 2.5 TO 3 HOURS. SO SO IN 12 HOURS YOU SHOULD HAVE CONSUMED 120 GRAMS. EASY. NOW IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT GRWING YOU WILL WATCH YOUR SLEEP PATTERNS TOO. BUT ON THE WEEKENDS I KNOW YOU DINK AND LEAVE YOUR WINDOW OPEN A CRACK FOR SPONGEBOB SO ALL IS FORGIVEN. JUST EAT EVERY 3 HOURS 30 GRAMS. YOU NEVER NEED A WHOLE TRIPLE THREAT SHAKE WITH THE FULL 60 GRAMS. WHEN YOU WAKE UP DRINK 30 GRAMS IN FORM OF TRIPLE THREAT CAUSE YOUR BODY IS STARVING FOR PROTEIN. AFTER YOUR WORKOUT HAVE A DRINK WITH 30 GRAMS PROTEIN 60 GRAMS CARBS. THEN EAT SOLID MEALS THROUGHOUT THE DAY. AND ANOTH .5 SHAKE AT NIGHT.

the reason i'm getting serious is because i'm on a break from school and i have the time after work to hit the gym now.

AND my doctor and i discussed that i NEED to keep at it in order to relieve the stress i fall under at school.

we all saw how stress affected me last semester - no good.

i'm actually kind of nervous to get back the gym tonight because i'm totally freaked that i'm going to be so much weaker than i was in september.
 
If I wake up late----which is about noon for me, then I space my meals out every 2 hours, instead of 3-4. I will also eat late at night if I have too. My day usually starts at 11 am, and ends at 2 pm.
 
Smalls, don't worry about that 30gr per hour stuff. Take in as much as you can eat. You will absorb most if not all of it.

If you fall behind by sleeping late, just make up for it with an extra shake. It's the quickest, easiest way. Normally, you don't want more than two shakes per day. You want to get most of your protein from lean meats, from real food in other words. But it's ok once in a while.
