when cutting i can never get rid of the lower gut/fat

Would help to remember that your body has priority when storing fat.

When gaining fat, most guys store it on their lower abs first.... then gradually it starts to appear higher up, around onto the obliques and lower back.... then on the glutes, and eventually the chest and upper back....

Then when losing it, the first place you'll lose it is the last place you put it on.... ie. your lower abs.

If you're like the average male, your lower abs is the last place your body has any real fat stores.... and so it's gunna fight you for it. Your body WANTS to store fat. So.... lower abs is really the final round.... ultimate test. Your body will fight you harder for those last few pounds of fat from your lower gut than it will from anywhere else.

And watch.... in your next bulking phase, you'll put it right back on in the same place first.
 
I'm not looking to get into an war with anyone but that cutting gel stuff is junk. The company that makes that product are scammers. The company, Klein-Becker, has a similar name to a very prominent pharmaceutical company (don't know the name off the top of my head). If you look at the ingredients in the product, you'll see that the product is a duretic, not a fat reducing product as it claims. Look at their other products, they sell fat loss pills for $100 that are plain ECA stacks. They sell some kind of "Testo" product which is really crappy andro. And the packaging of their products resembles that of prescription medications. I'm sorry but these guys are rip off artists. Start a thread in the anabolics or supplements boards on Dermalin and you'll find out for yourself. Or pay the $100 like I did, and you'll tell me I'm right.
 
DB, please don't take my word on it, do some research. From what I've read, topical fat loss products should have yohimbe HCL to achieve topical fat loss. Good luck.
 
The extreme difficulty that males have losing that "spare tire" is akin to the female problem of losing fat on thier hips, thighs, and glutes.

You can either give up and say "it is my genetic destiny" and live with it or you can decide to stop making excuses and JUST DO IT.

How long have you been doing your current cardio and training regimine? It is obvious that your body has adjusted. The only thing to do is to "shock" your system. CHANGE SOMETHING.

I am COSNTANTLY changing the type and amount of cardio that I am doing while making adjustments in my diet as I have to stay fairly lean all the time. I eat a pretty clean diet MOST of the time but I alter the cardio. I will go several weeks to MONTHS with little or no cardio. Then several weeks before a shoot or show SLOWLY add the cardio while making dietary adjustements. When I am done, I STOP! This way my body is ALWAYS GUESSING.

Is this making sense to you? The way it was explained to me before my first competition (I was about 8 weeks out 118# at 17% bf) is that if I was doing double cardio sessions 5 days p/week NOW (which I WAS) what would I be doing 2 weeks out?...triple and quadruple sessions? Needless to say along with a CLEANER DIET with better ratios I HAD TO CUT BACK ON CARDIO..... which I was THRILLED ABOUT. I DID immediately gain some bodyfat, but it changed and began to drop in a week to wee and a half's time. I competed at 112# at 10% with only the use of an ECA.

Will A/S aid you in maintaining lean mass while cutting. Yes, it will. But what is the point in that? The results will be temporary and I believe IMHO if you have not been able to understand the mechanics of your body WITHOUT such aid then you are wasting your time and money.

Does it require dedication? YES.

Is it impossible? NO.
 
Stubborn fat, whether it be on the thighs or on the lower abs, is a result of alpha receptor distribution. The receptors on those fat cells do not respond to the typical methods such as dieting, cardio, ECA, etc. They are very resistant fat cells which become that way due to factors such as high estrogen levels, yo-yo dieting, and genetics.

The secret lies in blocking the alpha receptors, which prevent fat breakdown. Yohimbine use is the only proven way to do this. Do a search on YOHIMBINE on the board and see how to use it.
