What's the most you've heard of a newbie paying for gear?

No it doesn't. Especially when all the other guys bring crap loads of junk food. You get no sleep and are tempted to each crap the entire time. I wouldn't mind getting a game going again, but my old group has spread out so much, and we used to hate trying to bring new players in unless we could teach them ourselves. Most players are not serious role-players, if they have experience with RPG's and can actually screw your campaign up. Right now my old group (the one's that I have any contact with now out of the 14 or 15 that came in out of the game for any length of time) is spread out over Dallas, Houston with one in Kileen, one in Austin, and me alone in College Station. Oh well.

if i could get everyone away from their women and find a time when they didnt have to work or go to college and actually drive to my town. it would take me 2 weeks to get a game going now. then here everyone comes with beer and pizza. some of them have to bring along the women. which is fine until they get bored. sometimes we get on a role and play 4 or 5 times a week and then we go on a 3 month drought. gotta take what u can get.

yeah jubei he has a new book coming out in oct or nov. 2nd one in a new trilogy.

I guess i'm one of the lucky ones.....20 yrs ago i paid 120 dollars for 100 dbol tabs but!!! man oh man i blew up went from a 150lb bench to a 305 for 1 rep max!!!!
