What's the best protein?

I've taken many different types of protein powder but alot of them seem to make me sick to my stomach-what's your favorite brand of powder?

LOL...Beverly helped me with my diet as well - good folks, great product (both contents and taste). The Ultra-Size to my knowledge only comes in Chocolate and Vanilla. I currently buy mine from the gym, so it is a little pricey.

bash me if u want but i think GNC's 100% whey is the best tasteing,,,Chocolate flavor,(,the strawberry tastes like soapy ass,) mixed with skilm milk and a teaspoon of glutamine i think its the best tasteing, 12 pounds(2 6pound containers) for 60 bucks with the gold card

for mrp the old school met-rx extreme chocolate still does it for me

Anything thats 100% pure whey isolate ranks #1 in my book. It's the best supplemental protein available. get a 9 lb tub of Isopure.. great stuff. If you can't afford it try n-large2 or designer whey tubs.

I have Isopure right now and it tastes pretty good but it breaks down way to fast in the body, the only time it's really good to take is right after your workout-I need something for the whole day

Well the protein debate may go on as long as the Enanthate VS Sustanon debate. But here are the facts that should help you in selecting a quality product that will provide positive nitrogen retention for a long duration.

Ideally you need:

Whey, Milk, Egg and Soy. You will be best suited if you try a product containing all of the mentioned compunds as they all have too many separate benefits for me to list here.

I recommend:

1. EAS Precision protein.
2. Thriple Threat
3. Making your own combination.

When you have a mix of all the proteins they will be easier to make taste well and digest steadily. Read some recent studies that show whey protein as possibly not being as good at building muscle as previously thought, despite it's high BV. Milk caseinate actually surpassed it in nitrogen retention, so it's definitely something to consider there, also a recent article in Muscular Development pointed out the renewed interest in Soy due to it's ability to act very similarly to Nolvadex in the estrogen receptors as well as reducing you chances of cacer. So in conclusion it's best to just find a product that is a mix of several proteins. I persoanlly moved away from whey and it's marketing hype. I now use a Precision protein and Sometimes Triple Threat and have to honestly say i feel much better and am stronger with less hunger.

I use a similar combo... EAS Simply Protein + Triple Threat. Covers all your bases and tastes great.
