No added sugar muesli. I eat it on days I don't have time to cook oatmeal(I only use the slow cooking kind since rolled oats don't have much GLA.)

1/2 cup:
Fat: 3g
Carbs: 41g
Fiber: 5g
Sugar: 8g
Protein: 7g

The best cereal is

no cereal, I can't possibly fathom why anyone would knowingly put that shite in their bodies. Oatmeal is fine ( I don't consider that a cereal). But all others I would consider a major contributor to type II diabetes.

Not all cereal is all that bad for you, go look at the side of Special K, Smart Start, Shreaded Wheat (without sugar sided), Whole Wheat Chex....

yup, i agree, oatmeal is the way to go. What do you guys prefer...instant or the old fashioned (45hour cooking time)? Heard the regular oatmeal is a better source of fibre, less sodium....Does it actually make that big a difference?

I've never seen oatmeal with 45minute cook time. Usually, I eat the Quaker Oats Quick Oats, because I can get 7 pounds of it at Sam's Club for like 10 bucks...maybe it's less I don't remember. Now, if I run out of that and can't make it to Sam's I'll go to the store and pick up Quaker Oats Old Fashioned Oats. I like them better and they don't take any more time than the other stuff. I think the box says that prep time is like 10 minutes, but I cook it the same way as the other stuff and it works just fine. All I do is bring the water to a boil, throw the oats in, stir them around and then let them cool.

cinnamin toast crunch...lol....kashi makes a cereal that is enhanced with soy protien...i like it with vanilla soy milk

Guys I love oatmeal like the next guy, but with low fat milk and 2 heapful of equal....anything tell me what's wrong with this picture??

I guenuinley don' see what's wrong with that, but oatmeal with water...yux dude! How does that even taste??

If you're dieting hard then ALL cereals taste good. However most of them are not that great for your fatloss efforts. Stick to anything that's whole, unprocessed grains. Whole oats, millet, barley, rye are your best bets. If they make you feel like chucking then you're not dieting very hard!!!
