WHat's more important when bulking?
calories/protein/carbs?

you always want to leave your protein high.when you bulk you should increase carbs and add red meats to your diet.you want to try to keep a log of your food intake so you can know how much you are taking in and how much to shoot for.
 
All are important and essential......however, if you are not taking in enough calories, you will not grow....you must take in more calories than you burn in order to gain weight, less than you burn to lose weight...in that sense, overall caloric intake is the most important.....assuming you have enough protein and the right amounts of simple and complex carbs and essential fats.
 
Assuming adequate protein intake, carbs are most important, as it is glucose metabolism that is responsible for increasing insulin and leptin (which will increase all of the other anabolic hormones).

Assuming you eat some red meat and take your flax, you should get plenty of EFA's, cholesterol, etc. -- intake of fats beyond this is not going to be particularly beneficial.

how much flax do you recomend Par? I have been using 2 tbls/75lbs of body weight but I am not a big flax fan so If I could get away w/ less or by subbing some natty peanut butter (I love that stuff) in the place of 1 of my tbls etc. Thanks in advance.

I think 1 tbls per 75lbs is plenty.

A possible exception is in a cutting phase -- I have heard of people going up to 5-7 tbls/day with success. I think Will Brink use to do this with his clients.

hmm im bulking and im taking 3 tablespoons of flaxseed a day... ( im 155 pounds) is that too many?
 
As for EFA'S go with Udo's Choice Oils. Its a no brainer, and if you don't like the taste of oil they make it in capsule form. I usually take 2-4 at a time with a shake.
