What is the stupidest gym advice you have ever heard?

some young kid starts talking to me. kid weighs maybe 120 bout 5'8'' looks me right in the eye and flexes and says, "can you believe this is all natural."

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA

Another one, aminoacids and protein are two different things :p
and my favorite:
to gain mass and definition at the same time start with low weight and high reps, then go for low reps and lots of weight, because body fat has litlle effect on definition....:p
oh and eating protein before you workout will give you more energy, carbos will only make you fat...
WTF???:D

worst advice...

What I can't figure out to this day...are these personal trainers you see moping around the gyms acting like they know everything about everything about bb'ing weighing no more than 150lbs on the norm.... and that is a gererous figure! I have 2 memberships at two different gyms in my area. I go to a Gold's Gym once in a while over here for change of scenery. I have to say...people are just damn lazy. Why would you pay for instrution from some scrawny, grossly out-of-shape, guy acting like a personal trainer to show you how to exercise? Practice what you preach? Right?! It obviously ain't working for these guys.... People are so gullible. I always thought you are better off hanging around the gym getting advise from the vets you see there every day. How I learned. If you must have a personal trainer, go for the guy who actually "looks like he lifts some weight and has some decent size or shape to him." GEEEZZZEEE!!!! Most of these personal trainers I see nowadays look like they never touched a weight in their lives, let alone train someone to. Now that is scary! Can somebody say injury? (lol)

my 2 cents....

I'd have to say when 150 lb teenagers try to give you advice.
Also when fat, slobby personal trainers try to give people advice on how to look better when they don't even look the part themselves.

There's always this either skinny or chubby instructor correcting You and explaining to other people why your routine sucks, then You ask them about theirs or their training backround and they would come with stories like:
(chubby) I used to train really hard, and was even bigger than you, but I used juice and it's all gone; what you gain, you don't keep :FRlol:
(Skinny) I used to train very hard and was gettin huge, but then I had a car accident, weeks after I broke my leg playing soccer, then I got married....:smash:
Then you see their 150@5'2'' and wonder ........ They are not even fit to spot for you on the bench press :spin:

It's not the first time I'm saying this but Stanozolol does not destroy your joints, it rather leads to a better collagen synthesis in cartillage and tendons, thus giving less risks of injuries. Its activity in the joints can be painful yet useful.

You are correct in the fact that collagen syntesis with Winstrol is better, but the quality of the synthesis is inferior to that of Deca, Primobolan or EQ.

Winstrol is known to produce more collage with less cross striations, thus making bigger weaker tendons.

I live by experience rather than heresay and I can attest that I have never had more tendon problems than when I used Winstrol on a rgular basis.
