I am seriuos indeed
it was one of the only shows I went too and I found it very distrurbing on soo many levels. An ally of mine owns the Golds in SF and I went with him.

Also the IFB judge or ring leader as it appeared was VERY abusive to the Athletes......
Like "hey your my gay bitch" or something, it was horrible.

the sadest thing was when I saw some of the more humble Bodybuilder (yes the ones seen in mags) take the bus home or to the airport, it was sad, they looked really ALONE...........

Bodybuilding is just like that. It's a very individual sport, and when people are in contest prep, they often alienate themselves from their friends and family...which is ironic because that's the time they need those people the most. Then, after the contest is over, they spend the offseason mending relationships they've tossed to the side.

The promoters don't respect the athletes at all. I've been to two "athletes" meetings at two separate shows, and they both said "this is about you" and "we're here for the athletes..." and all this bullshit, then they start the fucking show 3 hours late.

It was complete bullshit...they're not there for the athletes at all, they're there to make money.
