What can Roids do if taken at a young age?

I know it's not right but anyone who's played football in highschool knows it's very common for coaches to get the players to juice I don't know why some of you are so shocked?

thats wack, I have never heard of anyone, or anyone even knowing someone, who was juiced at high school in Aus. Mind you its alot more expensive and scarce here, but running something hard like tren on 16 year olds without PCT.. guy should be shot.

anyway i know your not agreeing with it but still, pretty fucked

Wow, I didn't even think about that. I have a boy in football and I will be shuving a stiletto up a coache's ass if he tries to juice him up. I'm glad you posted this. Maybe if I make my son aware of the dangers he won't be persuaded to do the same. You take responsibility, but he was the adult. What 16 yr old wouldn't listen to his coach?

lol when i was in highschool the coaches werent making us juice, but they definitely looked the other way. alot of guys took winny and prohormones (myself included). it was for sure a fucked up situation and bad descision on all our parts. 1 of the guys on winny was a pretty lean guy. he got even leaner, broke alot of records (power clean, pull ups, 40-yard dash, I-test) and in the jamboree game (scrimmage before the 1st game of the season) he cracked his sternum...wat a waste

I never played any school sports, but I had friends who did. None was given or provided in any way, any kind of joose, or in fact, nothing was advised that you couldn't buy at K-Mart. They did all take Androstene, which was sold like Vitamin C at the time.

Maybe it's different in various parts of the country, but I don't think there are many coaches who would dig that deep a grave for themselves. Look the other way, maybe, but they have random steroid testing in all school sports in CA now, if I'm correct. Anything shows up, and you're off the team. I guarantee if more than a couple of players show up with similar results, the coach will be grilled.

back then the internet didn't exist.

today with the internet these young geniuses in high school have access to sites that sell roids and they like to brag about it to look cool. even when i was in high school 12 years ago it wasn't very common, never saw it when i weightlifted or played football. granted i went to a high school in a poor town.

its so easy to get a website from a buddy and go online and buy and then do a western union. you don't even need a credit card

You wouldn't have needed the internet. Steroids in general weren't controlled substances yet, and you could walk into any equestrian or cattlemens' supply house and buy Deca and various other stuff over the counter. And in fact, they weren't testing, and I don't think any of the collegiate or pro sports organizations had any policies against Roids yet. I was in high school from 1982-85 in Los Angeles (Hamilton High).

wasn't aware of that. when i was in school late 90's I would go to a health food store and get andro.. it was still legal until the Mark McGwire debacle made it banned also.

i would take a very small dosage because a bottle cost 60 bucks which was way more then i could afford working for a nickel above minimum wage. doubt it did much for me, if anything i guess it gave me a psychological edge.. knew nothing about it.. only that the guy there recommended it.

In the 60's - 80's Gear was as common in the gym as a pack of candy i could always find test, deca, primo, dbol anything i needed that same day or the next day.

Maybe kids (high school age) were more innocent then. I don't remember anyone trying any gear at all. I think it was limited to the inner-circle of bodybuilding (such as the Venice Beach crowd, etc). Mainstream lifters and non-comp bodybuilders didn't seem to be into anything. The first time I heard of anyone using Deca (or something like that), it was a friend who was working out at a major name gym in a wealthier part of Los Angeles. He did a cycle, and scared the sh*t out of himself when he couldn't get it up for a month. I think the rest of us, at that point, abandoned any ideas of trying anything for years to come. It was a different time, and this was all a new horizon that nobody knew much about yet.
