Well, the snow here is different than anywhere in the world because of the dry climate and the great salt lake. It never really gets icy and the snow is surprisingly easy to drive through. Plus, they do an amazing job removing the snow. I grew up in Philly and I know what you're talking about with the packed snow and ice.

Last year was a bitch in my mustang through those ridiculous blizzards here. I couldn't go anywhere those days with RWD. I almost died twice in one day on I-15 while traveling 20mph.

I need an AWD car. Maybe I'll sell the stang and get a subaru or something. I'd miss the 470hp though.

AWD suburu's are not lacking in power nowadays...remember, with their AWD system 99.9% of the hp actually gets to all 4 tires...unlike every v8 mustang i have ever driven or rode in.....

an obscenly fast run thru snow and ice covered, beat up and pot marked, narrow mountain roads in n.e. tennessee made ME a believer in suburu's AWD system.
