right now im designing a cutting diet and wanted to know if it is ok to eat lean cuts of steak? if so how many times per week, and what kind of cuts are considered lean?

Steak once a week or so is ok on a cutting diet, long as you keep it lean. Go with London Broil. It's about the leanest cut you can get and it's pretty cheap.
I have steak pretty much ever day, and i'm cutting. However i'm only eating about 4oz a day. As long as it fits into the requirment/restrictions of your diet, than i would say go for it.
I eat steak once a week to keep my hormones in balance while cutting and I'm still able to lose fat (don't have that much fat, but a little on my lower abs).. Just make sure the rest of the week you stick on a good diet.
i wouldnt reccoment eating steak if you are planning a high protein, low carb diet. however if you are following a diet like crumcakes steak would be perfect for you, otherwise get your fats from flaxseed oil, or other related foods.
