Sodium

I eat 2-3 cans of tuna a day, if i dropped it to one can of tuna a day would the drop in sodium be noticable in water retention?

If you're really concerned about sodium - why not give low-sodium tuna a try? I bought a few cans and didn't really notice a huge difference in taste.

Remember not to cut sodium TOO low....

Well, it would actually be pretty hard to cut it too low....but...

Sodium is required for normal blood pressure, not to mention maintenance of blood volume....and it also contributes to the normal functioning of your muscles and nervous system....

You really only need to replenish the sodium that your body loses through perspiration, etc., and since most food naturally contains sodium - it shouldn't be a problem....
