All for it. As a matter a fact the most qualified person should be elected in any system of government. My comment is that some of the countries you named seemingly in defense of American actions would never let you say that about them no matter if you were male or female they just wouldnt let you say them, and that some of them wouldnt let you even say anything because of your gender. I personally judge politicians as I do everyone. I listen carefully to what they have to say and then make my judgement. Their gender/color/ethnicity means nothing in the equation.

Warik then did not bring up the race issue. As you brought up the people of color in reference I do not believe you were talking of people a little red in the face from running 10 miles.

Now you can have your opinions of America as a big bully, but once again it is the country you live in and you should thank it for giving you the right to say that is my point.

and if you didnt prove you were a racist before you just did by that statement. That is one of the most ignorant things I have ever heard, and this is coming from someone of Native American decent. I do not feel I have any more right to be angry about what I was given in life than anyone else should. I wasnt here when the pilgrims landed and if I held hatred for what happened to my ancestors I would only be giving myself an excuse for any failure I ever had or will have. That would only make me a weak person.

I'm a person of Color it just doesn't sound like it's the same color as you...People who still use this race is a hiderence argument today are full of shit. If some lady wants to raise rent to disuade someone of any color from renting from her thats her right...it's her property and she should be allowed to rent out to anyone she pleases. If you dont like it find another place to rent....If you feel that people of color and/or women dont stand a chance in America Society you have a few options...

1. You can put up with it and go on about your business

2. You can put up with it and sit around and gripe

3. You can write to your Reps and complain to them and not anyone else

4. You can Leave this country behind and go to one of the "Better" countries that you are refering to

5. You can try and persuade your Reps and All of us of the problems and why we should care


There could be other options and some may be better then others but I can assure you that your chances of #5 probably aren't too likely

The sample population of this board posting to this thread makes a point...there are no blacks here...there are no Arabs here...there aren't any Latinos here.

You are one of maybe two people of color posting to this thread.
