really happy with my new shirt!

I've had a few shirts by now. Never really liked any of them, although titan fury was a standby. On a whim, I bought a denim open backed inzer, size 50. Boy am I happy!! It fits great. It's comfortable. Easy on and off. Good tight support. Great, natural groove. You hear a lot of bad stuff about inzer, but service and tailoring was within the week. Stitching is tight and solid. I am very impressed. I highly recommend it. If you know what other shirts I might like if I like this one, pass that along!

i plan to go to apf in louisiana, which to my knowledge is once a year. I am also right before 40 , so i will wait until 40 to compete in the masters group. So I think I have an entire year as the apf is april 13 . . . I will probably watch this year and see the numbers i need to win. The are a couple of bench bashes sprinkled throughout the year, and I may do them for experience while i wait for the main event to roll around. The shirt and I can be old buddies by the time of the meet! For the bench bashes i can do submaster (33-39) age group. Looks like a fun year!

Good luck. Definitely do a warm up meet just to see what it is like. I am prepping for my second one and I am ready to push the envelope.

Inzer is kinda hit or miss these days since they fired the whole staff except for one person..

we have had quite a few shirts blow out with minimal weights

but when you do get one that is made right-yep its a keeper

hey man! nice to see ya again. I found one i like i guess. the service was real fast too, unlike the months it used to take. Weird. . .

Sounds great. When do you compete?
Well change of plans ... May 12 is my first meet. I found out about one near me and I'm going to do it! Just for experience. I ordered a squat suit right before i knew about the meet. So it looks like i have four weeks to break that in . . . My bench shirt is ok. It could have more support/be tighter, but i'm comfortable with it. I figure this is going to be more educational than i thought. I just redid my squats trying to pick opening weights for the entry form. When i got to thinking about passing a judge my weights dropped about 30-40 pounds! realism is a hard task master.

That's awesome. Where is it? What fed?

There is nothing nice about missing an opener, so pick something you've done in the gym with confidence.
