Protein shake recipes

Some thoughts for making protein shakes during the day tasty. Most are for gaining, or even double the amounts for better gaining....


Apple pie...8 oz. non fat milk or water,. 1 scoop vanilla protein powder. 1 tbsp. apple pie filling. 1/4 tsp. ground allspice and 3 ice cubes.

Crispy Hippie....1 cup 2% milk. 1 scoop chocolate protein powder. 2 tbsp. of no fat french vanilla creamer. 1/4 tbsp. low fat granola. 1 frozen banana. 1 tbsp. peanut butter.

Banana split.....8 oz. lowfat milk or water. 1 scoop vanilla protein powder. 1/2 banana. 1/4 cup chopped pineapple. 2 frozen strawberries and 3 ice cubes.

Double chocolate fudge.....8 oz. non fat milk or water. 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder. 1/2 packet of chocolate Swiss Miss fat free hot cocoa mix and 3 ice cubes. Blend on high speed.

Black and White.....Freeze 1 cup of 2% milk. 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder. 2 tbsp. non fat french vanilla creamer, 2 tbsp. Hersheys chocolate syrup.

Blueberry Blast....8 oz.non fat milk or water. 1 scoop vanilla protein powder. 1/2 cup frozen or fresh blueberries. 3 ice cubes.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup.....8 oz. nonfat milk or water. 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder. 1 heaping tbsp. all natural peanut butter and 3 ice cubes.

Sure are....just trying to help some folks out with some ideas. The post was meant simply to help.
 
thanks for the recipes im gonna try a few out personally i cant stand the taste of my vanilla stuff with plain water or milk
 
Nothing fancy, but I always add extracts to my shakes. Bannana, Coconut, Almond, Brandy and sometimes Anise with coffee. Tastes pretty good especially if you get sick of vanilla.
 
Here is a great shake for bulking ONLY:

-150g protein powder 50/50 eggwhite/whey
-5 tbsp. ANPB
-2 tbsp. UDO's choice
-2 cups organic ice cream (pick flavor)
-5 cups rice milk (non GMO)
-1 cup of oats
-2 tbsp. of maple syrup
-3 tbsp. of organic brown (or non-processed) sugar

It's more of a meal, but if the flavors are tweaked a little the taste is more like a pudding.

Nice shake idea. I may just have to try that one. I love ice cream in my shakes when I am bulking.

Have you ever used Almond milk? It is also tasty.
