Money isn't an issue.
If you had the choice between these products ONLY,
Which one would you choose for post-workout ONLY?

Please, don't say Isopure or PF or whatever - just tell me which one of these you would go for.

They all meet label claims 100% - I've seen lab tests.

Thanks.

Money no object - Surge, by far.

Money a factor: create your own at protein factory. Tastes like shit with Hydro 320

None even if money was no object. I'd stick to 50g whey 50g dextrose and go for a second shake in the second hour.

Predigested whey leaves the system too quickly, isolates lack lactoferrin which is good for growth, which makes whey superior. And even if money was no object, paying double the price for 10% more protein is not worth the money.

If money was no object I'd supplement w/ Micellar Cassein in b/w meals however.

Of your choices Surge w/out question. And RU though I know you said you didnt want to hear it check out the recovery formula @ PF. I have been really pleased w/ it and have noticed NO difference from surge as far as recovery goes and the taste isnt bad either (I've tried orange and vanilla sweetened w/ splenda).

=w=, what's up bro!
I live in the UK, so it's very difficult to order from PF. I heard a lot of pple saying they messed up with their order and had to pay fortunes at customs.

riskybizz007, I said post-WO ONLY!

Hydrolized whey 520 from protein factory w/cfm whey and carbs. Hydrolized whey is supposed to digest fast right after a workout. It is absorbed through the intestines I believe. I throw in cfm whey isolate for a slower fast protein. CFM whey is a 99% undenatured protein containing all subfractions including lactoferrin. So concentrates are not the only protein containing this. Ion Exchange isolate will not have lactoferrin though.

Surge is for post workout therefore low carb would make no sense. It is 49g carbs w/ 45g coming from glucose polymers (dextrose) and 25g hydro whey.

For any of you who have tried Surge, how similar in taste is it to Grow? Grow was more of an MRP. Is Surge low carb?
Never tried Grow, but from what I've heard it was quite thick. Surge mixes up pretty thin and has sort of an almond-y, vanilla flavor. Quite good, although you can detect a bit of an undercurrent of ass in there. I've got to give it to Biotest on this one though, they did a damn good job of covering the flavor.

BTW, I think I've asked this before, but for those who've used the PF Recovery Formula, how does it taste in comparison? Scale of 1-10. I'm thinking about ordering some, but don't want something completely disgusting.

I've used recovery formula for the last few months, and was very pleased. I don't think it tastes that bad, but I'm not very finicky :) I tried saving a few bucks and made a 65%dextrose/30%Invotech Isolate/5%BCAA mix and it tastes SO MUCH WORSE!!!! I'm going back to either recovery formula, or just 40%concentrate/60%dextrose if I need to save more cash.

I'm using recovery and it is fine - you will have no problem with it I am sure. Like I posted above I have tried vanilla and orange both sweetened w/ splenda and have had zero problem getting them down. I have also beeen experimenting w/ taking half during my workout and half after but I am not sure I am noticing much benefit.
