Plans for the weekend

I get scardeded of the deep ocean :worried:

It's only scary because it's unknown. You aren't suposed to go deeper than 130 ft for a recreational diver, and at that, only if you have an advanced certification or a TON of experience can you go deeper than 60. I was born to be in the water, though, it's like second nature to me. Anyway, once you're under water and you can see everything around you as clear as if it were an aquarium, the fear will subside and be replaced by a sense of awe and wonder.

Meh...if you know where you're diving and know the life in the area as well as respect it, you shouldn't ever get hurt diving. Plus, that's part of the reason you wear a wetsuit.

I should really try to conquer that fear. I have another pheubia. I'm scared shitless of heights. Like shitless....I could get myself to dive with time. But heights would probably kill me.

When I worked in Alaska I will never forget pulling crab pots while in a huge pool of jelly fish. The rope in the king coiler would flip little pieces of jelly fish as it was being pulled from the water. No way to avoid getting hit in the face and eyes. It's the worst...
