John, died of a massive heart attack at the age of 40.
He and I worked together and started w/in a week of each other. We both were the new kids on the block and were both going though horrible break ups a the time. We became each other confidants.
He was my drinking buddy and dance partner.
He died at work in his office. This is a tribute his brother put on youtube for him.
I just saw it and I'm in tears...check it out

RIP - great video tribute

Thanks all

He was overweight (but had lost a lot the yr before he passed) and was a heavy drinker and smoker.
He actually went to see a Dr 3 weeks before he died b/c he had a lot of indigestion. The Dr told him he had reflux (yeah whatever), My b/f and I went out with him 3 weeks before he passed and he looked gaunt and he couldn't drink.
The day he passed (man at work OF ALL PLACES), he went home that morning feeling sick, but got home, took a nap, felt better, came back to work and then within an hr fell on the floor and died in seconds.
He also had just met a girl, fell in love, was moving to Toronto to be with her.
He was to move into his new home and start his new job (still with my company) a week b4 he died.
His funeral was a celebration. No one was crying. There were pictures and videos etc. At the church over 500 ppl showed up.
He was the coolest guy and a sweetheart.
God takes all the good ones first.......guess that's why I'm still here ;-)

Thanks again all for your kind words. :-)
